How does your daily life inspire you?

Since the first cameras were invented, photographers have been using them to document daily life, and British Journal of Photography has been championing these works inspired by the everyday.

Now we are encouraging photographers to elevate their daily life to the walls of Galerie Huit Arles during the world’s first and foremost photography festival, Les Rencontres d’Arles, for a month during July 2020.

Galerie Huit Arles is expanding its exhibition space to accommodate the work of photographers responding to the theme, Daily Life. This second group show will be part of the OpenWalls 2020 exhibition.

What makes your familiar fascinating? How is your commonplace compelling? We want to see photographs of the mundane, the extraordinary, and all the moments that happen in between.

Show us images that capture the essence of your daily life.
